HANDI HQ: which job should you take?

Find HANDI HQ and start your first job

Choose HANDI HQ on the Lagos map, in Yaba near the Ojuelegba screen. Its listed opening window is 07:00–23:00. On arrival, use Job board: live requests or select a bay inside the venue. Pick a task whose rating requirement you meet and let the action finish before starting another job.

Check Energy before committing: the reviewed start check blocks jobs below 20 Energy. Restore a low bar first using the needs guide. There is no need to buy a business to try the entry tasks. Keep money for travel, food and the next rent payment rather than spending your whole reserve on the trip.

Treat the displayed quote as the amount to inspect for your character. The baseline comparisons below help you choose a task; tips, income handling and temporary boosts can change the eventual wallet increase.

Match the trade to a useful skill

HANDI uses six trades but links them to existing character skills. Building a trade's completion count and training a skill are separate kinds of progress.

Electrical is a useful option when Coding is already part of your plan. Beauty shares Charisma with several careers, while cleaning uses Fitness. Tattoo provides a paid Photography route even though Photography has fewer direct career links in our skills reference.

These links give you a reason to choose a trade beyond its first payout. They do not prove that HANDI is the fastest possible training method: its actions and the dedicated training options have different costs and progression rates.

Choose between a short task and a larger payout

At the same skill-0, New baseline, wardrobe repair and sockets each list ₦2,500 for 60 game minutes. Office cleaning lists the same money for 120 minutes. If your immediate aim is fitting one job before another commitment, the shorter task is a useful starting comparison.

Beauty's two entry jobs both list 90 minutes, but gel nails has the larger base: ₦3,000 against ₦2,500 for lashes. Small flash tattoo also starts at ₦3,000 for 90 minutes. Cooking's entry job pays that base over 120 minutes, so choose it for the Cooking link or your existing skill advantage rather than assuming equal pay means equal duration.

Now compare your actual skills. A character with strong Cooking may receive a better quote for small chops than a character with zero Coding receives for sockets. Use the table to shortlist actions, then compare the in-game quotes for your own Sim. Listed game minutes are not a measured real-world hourly wage.

Understand the pay formula with an example

The reviewed baseline is the task base multiplied by 1 + 0.22 × whole skill level, then by the category-rating multiplier, rounded to the nearest ₦50. The skill input is floored and capped at 10. A fractional level such as 2.9 uses 2 in this calculation.

For a ₦3,000 base task at skill 2 and New rating, the calculation is ₦3,000 × 1.44 = ₦4,320, rounded to ₦4,300. This is an independently calculated example of the client formula, before optional tips, boosts and income deductions.

Completion can add a tip. The current rules also allow timed promotional boosts, so check the banner and quote when one appears. A temporary multiplier should not become your normal weekly budget. Record the completed job's payout and compare it with the pre-job quote before relying on repeat income.

Unlock bigger jobs within one category

Counts belong to each category. Five electrical jobs improve Electrical's rating; one job in each of five different trades does not create a Rising rating in all five. To unlock a particular higher-tier task, keep completing work in its category and check the remaining count on the board.

Task unlocks differ. Beauty already offers two New tasks; bridal makeup requires Pro, and the bride-and-bridesmaids task requires Top-rated. Electrical adds ceiling-fan work at Rising, inverter work at Pro and flat rewiring at Top-rated. Pick a category you can sustain instead of repeatedly switching solely for a slightly larger headline base.

Fix a locked task or a missing payout

The reviewed rules allow one HANDI job at a time and cap completions at 10 per game day. After completion, the next-job rest period is 20 game minutes when the computed baseline is below ₦25,000, or 45 minutes otherwise. This rest check is separate from the job's listed duration.

If a task is locked, read its reason in this order: required category rating, another queued job, the daily cap, the rest countdown, then Energy. Finish or clear the conflicting queue through the game's controls. Wait for the displayed countdown or next game day when that is the blocker; spending on unrelated equipment will not remove it.

The daily cap is a ceiling, not a promise that ten long jobs fit into opening hours. Check the clock after each completion. A completed task's review records pay, while tax or other income handling may make your wallet change differ from the definition baseline.

Fit HANDI into your money plan

Keep a salaried career when its shifts still fit your goals, and use HANDI for gaps or paid skill development. Compare that choice with the existing side gigs and budget examples.
