Lagos Life Dangote IPO: Flutterwave and real shares
The Lagos Life Dangote IPO entrance is at Flutterwave on the Lagos Island waterfront. The reviewed client also provides directions from the refinery's IPO board. The offer concerns real shares: the minimum application is 10 shares at ₦525 each, or ₦5,250 in real Nigerian naira. The announced closing date is October 27, 2026.

What is the Lagos Life Dangote IPO?
It connects a branded place in the game to the public share offer for Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE. An IPO is a company's initial public offering of shares. Applying means requesting ownership in that real company, rather than purchasing a business for your character.
BusinessDay reported the integration on October 14. Our October 15 review also found the venue, directions and IPO interface in the official public client. The instructions below follow those definitions; we have not completed a logged-in application or payment.
Where is Flutterwave in Lagos Life?
Look for Flutterwave in the Lagos Island area. The client's location description places the glass tower on the Island's waterfront near the branded refinery. This is the game's location label; use it when searching the map rather than assuming the real company's street address.
The official venue and action definitions, reviewed October 15, provide this route:
- Open the Lagos map and inspect the Flutterwave location.
- At the tower, look for Learn about the IPO to read the offer information.
- The purchase-related action is labelled Buy Dangote shares (real money).
- If you are at the refinery, its Dangote IPO: what's an IPO? board explains the offer, and Directions to Flutterwave points you toward the tower.
The refinery board and tower have different purposes: one introduces the offer and provides directions; the other exposes the subscription interface. Use our map and locations guide for ordinary travel planning.
What is the share price and minimum cost?
The Flutterwave offer page gives the following subscription amounts. These are real NGN amounts, separate from your character's wallet.
| Question | Offer information |
|---|---|
| Price per share | ₦525 |
| Minimum application | 10 shares |
| Minimum share cost | ₦5,250 |
| Additional share quantities | Multiples of 10 |
| Receiving agent | Flutterwave |
| Partner stockbroker | Chapel Hill Denham Securities |
The minimum comes from 10 × ₦525. It is the cost of the requested shares; review the provider's current total and any disclosed charges separately. A character earning ₦5,250 from a shift has earned game currency, not the real funds required for this application.
When does the Dangote IPO close?
The announced deadline is October 27, 2026. Dangote's October 12 extension notice moves the closing date from October 13 to October 27. That explains why an older page or screenshot may still show October 13.
The revised timetable schedules allotment for November 17, with settlement and trading fifteen business days after allotment. These are scheduled milestones, not guarantees: the issuer says timetable dates can change. Check the issuer's latest notice when comparing dates, especially if you are reading this after the subscription period.
Who can apply, and what details are needed?
The game's IPO information module describes participation for Nigerians aged eighteen or older with a valid Bank Verification Number, or BVN. Being able to enter the game does not complete the financial provider's identity checks.
Send App's official explanation also lists next-of-kin information, a bank account in your own name and existing CSCS/CHN details where available. Eligible Nigerians abroad can apply through that channel. If you do not have CSCS/CHN details, its documented process includes assistance through Chapel Hill Denham. A CSCS account records securities; it is distinct from your Lagos Life save.
How does the Flutterwave application work?
The reviewed IPO interface supports both opening Flutterwave's offer website and an application form within the game interface. The form covers share quantity, applicant information, identity checks, next of kin, bank details and review before a separate payment stage. Which path appears depends on the active offer configuration.
Use the screen you actually receive. For a website handoff, the client's configured destination is on flutterwave.com. For an embedded form, read the provider information and final amount before deciding whether to proceed. This guide does not collect your identity documents, bank information or application funds.
Can you use Game Naira to buy the shares?
The IPO uses real funds. The Lagos Life terms define Game Naira as fictional currency without a cash redemption value. Buying a game-currency top-up and submitting a share application are different transactions, even when both involve Flutterwave.
| What you are doing | Currency or record involved |
|---|---|
| Earning wages or paying rent in the simulation | Your character's Game Naira |
| Buying a Game Naira top-up | Real payment for virtual units |
| Applying for Dangote shares | Real payment for a share application |
| Holding allotted shares | Securities registered through CSCS and your broker |
Our money guide and salary calculator help plan the first row. Their balances cannot be used as an IPO budget or evidence that you have bought shares.
Where do the shares go after applying?
Payment and allotment are separate stages. Send App explains that a successful payment submits an application for processing; the final allocation can be smaller than the quantity requested. Its guidance directs investors to their stockbroker or CSCS to manage allotted holdings.
The game's reviewed interface also includes an application-status area under Invest → My Dangote shares when the relevant mode is enabled. Treat an application reference as a way to track processing, and use the broker's records for the resulting securities. A pending application is not a completed allocation.
What if the building, button or application is unavailable?
Check that you are viewing the Lagos map, then compare the venue and action labels above. The public client gates IPO activities behind an event configuration and distinguishes an upcoming, open or closed offer. A venue definition alone does not establish availability for your account at a particular moment.
For missing game controls, use the game's support route. For a submitted application, contact the provider through the channel where you applied and retain its reference. Check your existing status before starting another payment. Investment values can fall; these explanations help identify the service, not decide whether the shares suit you.
